2020 Dodge Journey
2020 Dodge Journey
With three rows of spacious seating and a price tag that anyone could love, the 2020 Dodge Journey offers a hot take on family travel.
What’s new for the 2020 Dodge Journey?
This year there are only two Journey trim models available, the SE Value and Crossroad. The new Popular Equipment Group package is available for either trim, making it easier to tailor the Journey’s list of features to suit your personal tastes.
The 2020 Journey now comes standard with rear park assist, making it easier to guide this three-row crossover into a coveted spot. The Crossroad trim level gets a newly standard sunroof, making your ride a little bit more luxurious.
This year, every Journey comes standard with the same powertrain, a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. Said transmission sends 172 horsepower and 166 pound-feet of torque to the front wheels.
Is the 2020 Dodge Journey a van or SUV?
The Journey is indeed a three-row crossover SUV. With its wallet-friendly MSRP and comfy seating, it’s a great choice for families on the run – certainly not unlike a minivan, only with more rugged style.
Why buy the 2020 Dodge Journey?
Get the Journey because you want a reasonably priced family hauler with rugged capabilities. This crossover has three spacious rows, making it appropriate for big families and anyone who prefers to travel in packs. Besides long-haul comfort and plenty of legroom, the Journey also serves up rugged power and a host of modern tech gadgets. We’re big fans of the Uconnect infotainment system. Its touchscreen supplies crisp graphics and intuitive menus – two things you can’t live without when you’re trying to drive and switch playlists simultaneously.
This crossover is also big on interior utility. It’s easy to configure the three rows of seating to create more cargo or passenger space. And you’ll find a wide range of cubbies and in-cabin storage spaces for all of your favorite carryon items.
Which 2020 Dodge Journey trim model should I choose?
Choose between two Journey trim levels: the SE Value and Crossroad. The SE Value edition gives you the best deal on three-row family travel. Inside, you’ll find plenty of space for your loved ones. Seating in all three rows offers a good balance of comfort and support – two things you can’t do without on a road trip. The SE Value comes standard with modern features like keyless ignition and entry and roof rails. Step up to the Crossroad for more in upscale comfort features, including leather upholstery and a three-zone climate control system.
You can add the Popular Equipment Group package to either of these two trim models. In the SE Value trim, it adds both extra comfort and infotainment features, including a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and the Uconnect infotainment system. The Crossroad version of the package offers a longer list of modern comfort features, including heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. This bundle also includes remote start and a six-speaker sound system with a subwoofer.
