What’s new for the 2020 Ram 2500?
After a major redesign for the 2019 model year, which set the heavy-duty bar for power, performance, and interior luxury, the Ram 2500 is rolling out even more new features for 2020. Lane-keeping assist and adaptive steering are now available for every Ram 2500 trim model. A new trailer tire pressure monitor helps you maintain a steady course. Crew cabin models with the 8-foot bed now come standard with a 50-gallon fuel tank for fewer trips to the station.
What are the different 2020 Ram 2500 models?
There are seven 2020 Ram 2500 trim models: Tradesman, Big Horn, Lone Star, Power Wagon, Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, and Limited. There are also four body style configurations from which to choose: a regular cab with an 8-foot bed, crew cabin with a 6-foot-4-inch bed, crew cabin with an 8-foot bed, and the extra-large Mega Cab with the 6-foot-4-inch bed. (Note that the Mega Cab configuration is only available with four-wheel drive.)

Choose from two heavy-duty Ram powertrains. The 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine gives you 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque to move substantial weight. For a heftier towing performance, check out the 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel inline-six engine. The standard version of this engine issues 370 horses and 850 pound-feet of torque. For those who want to maximize capabilities, the upgraded Cummins turbodiesel puts out an astounding 400 horses and 1,000 pound-feet of torque.
